cellusd > Washington Park Lawn-Bowling Club. I've always found this shed delightfully anachronistic. One day, I hope to actually see people lawn bowling.

cellusd > Looking South toward Mississippi and High. The Wash Park neighborhood is getting a facelift, but does this betray its character? New houses and townhomes are monstrosities being built to property lines, with small yards and little respect for aesthetic continuity.

cellusd > The charred remnants of an abandoned restaurant/gas station at exit 216 off of I-70 in Kansas. This photo came out better than I expected. Since this required shooting into the sun, I used the 400-speed so that I could get a fast enough exposure to capture the shade details while holding the camera. The resulting graininess is kinda dramatic; Having Mel in the shot provided some human scale.
